How to reduce account limits via automation?

How do we handle a reduction in services via automation without canceling an entire order?

Example: An existing customer orders three additional IVR's and five additional extensions and two mailboxes on the same order.

Later this customer decides they want to reduce their service by one IVR. How is that handled? It appears to me that I would have to cancel the entire order and then re-create it less one IVR. This is a terrible method as it would presumably erase any data attached to those services such as any voicemails in the mailboxes.

A much better solution would be to allow negative quantities when creating account limits. That way I could place a negative order on behalf of the customer.

Is there a way to handle service reductions that I am not aware of and if not is there anything on the road map to address this?
